How will these webinars help me?
Are you preparing to take an English proficiency exam or test, like the Oxford Test of English? Or maybe you would just like some tips and advice on how you can brush up on your language skills? If so, then this series of online preparation lessons can help you get in shape. In your test, you will be assessed on your command of Speaking, Listening, Reading and Writing in English. These lessons give you a set of techniques you can use to help you improve your proficiency in each skill and achieve success when you do sit your test.
What can I expect from the lessons?
Each lesson focuses on one skill, and we look at aspects that are commonly assessed in language proficiency tests, such as understanding the main ideas when Reading or Listening, or expressing opinions in Speaking or Writing. We work through some activities together, exploring techniques that can help to develop your skills and strengthen your performance – in your test and for when you use your English in the real world. You can also have a go at putting these techniques into practice in the context of a selection of Oxford Test of English sample tasks. We give you some tips about how you can continue to build your skills after the webinar, and you’ll hear more about preparing for and taking the Oxford Test of English.
